Job summary

LGG Industrial in Louisville, KY is seeking a Welder to prep and weld steel, aluminum and stainless steel parts using a TIG process, following supervisors' instructions and blueprints. The role emphasizes safety and clean working conditions.

The Welder will read blueprints, set up welding equipment, and produce high-quality welds for production orders while collaborating with team members to maximize efficiency and maintain quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; craft apprenticeship or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of TIG welding experience required; ability to pass TIG test within 6 weeks.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.
• TIG weld steel, aluminum and stainless steel per blueprints and job specs.
• Read blueprints/drawings to determine welding requirements.
• Set up welding machines and welding cells for production runs.
• Ensure work meets safety and quality standards; maintain clean, organized area.
