Qualifications

• High School diploma or trade school required.
• 2+ years of TIG welding experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding specifications.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Good communication skills; team player.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum.
• Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, grinding, and fitting components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing orders.
• Fabricate material by cutting and welding various metals.
• Inspect welds for quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Operate power and hand tools including arc welders, buffing machine, chop saw, and shear.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
• Follow verbal and written instructions; assist team as needed.
• Repair defective welds and propose improvements to supervisors.
