Ace Precision Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled TIG welder to join our aerospace-focused manufacturing team. You will perform precision GTAW welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and cobalt alloys, work from fixtures, read sketches, and contribute to our quality-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• TIG weld stainless steel, aluminum, nickel and cobalt alloys from 0.020" to 0.064" thick.
• Fit, assemble and weld components using fixtures and weld positioner.
• Read and interpret sketches, routings and weld symbols.
• Visually inspect welds, identify defects, repair and report per quality system.
• Collaborate with team to build quality products.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Precision TIG (GTAW) welding of stainless steel, aluminum, nickel and cobalt alloys, between 0.020" and 0.064" thick
• Fit, assemble and weld complex components using fixtures, tools, and weld positioner
• Read and interpret sketches, routings, process control sheets, and weld symbols
• Visually inspect all weldments; identify potential indications; and repair and report defects per our advanced quality system requirements
• Work as part of a collaborative team to build quality products that you're proud to put your name on

WHAT EXPERIENCE YOU NEED

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), with a minimum of 2 years of TIG welding experience
• Demonstrated ability to weld on welding qualification materials during interview process
• Solid understanding of weld symbols and fabrication fundamentals
