Ace Precision, with 40+ years of excellence serving Aerospace, Power Generation, Defense, Space, and Aftermarket R&O, invites skilled TIG welders to join its Wisconsin operations.

Role focuses on hands-on GTAW/TIG welding on diverse parts, with setup, inspection, and working on process control sheets and samples. Day and night shifts available with a shift premium and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Certification to groove and fillet weld on 0.020" and 0.064" thicknesses per AWS D17.1 Class A.
• Fluent with welding symbols/terms per AWS A2.4 and AWS A3.0.
• High School diploma or GED with 2+ years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on manual GTAW/TIG welding on a diversified line of standard parts.
• Independent setup, positioning, and welding across similar and dissimilar alloys.
• Execute to spec using sketches, routings, process control sheets, and sample parts.
• Apply deep knowledge of equipment features, shielding/backup gas needs, and parameter effects.
• Assist in creating and revising work instructions for GTAW operations.
• Perform visual inspections; identify indications; repair and report defects.

Required Capabilities

• Certification to groove and fillet weld on 0.020" and 0.064" thicknesses (stainless, nickel, cobalt alloys such as 17-4PH, Inconel 718, Haynes 188) per AWS D17.1 Class A.
• Fluent with welding symbols/terms per AWS A2.4 and AWS A3.0.
• High School diploma or GED and 2+ years related experience/training—or equivalent mix of education and experience.
