Job summary

Ace Precision Machining is seeking a skilled TIG welder to join our precision shop. You will weld stainless steel, aluminum and alloy components using fixtures and a weld positioner, followed by careful inspection and documentation in our quality system.

The role requires 2+ years of TIG welding with an eye for detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to read complex drawings and symbols. We offer growth, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years TIG welding experience.
• Ability to weld on qualification materials during interview.

Responsibilities

• TIG (GTAW) welding of stainless steel, aluminum, nickel and cobalt alloys (0.020"–0.064" thick).
• Fit, assemble and weld complex components with fixtures and weld positioner.
• Read and interpret sketches, routings, process control sheets, and weld symbols.
• Visually inspect welds, identify indications, and repair defects per quality system.
• Work with a team to build quality products you can be proud of.

What You Will Do

• Precision TIG (GTAW) welding of stainless steel, aluminum, nickel and cobalt alloys, between 0.020\" and 0.064\" thick
• Fit, assemble and weld complex components using fixtures, tools, and weld positioner
• Read and interpret sketches, routings, process control sheets, and weld symbols
• Visually inspect all weldments; identify potential indications; and repair and reports defects per our advanced quality system requirements

What Experience You Need

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), with a minimum of 2 years of TIG welding experience
• Demonstrated ability to weld on welding qualification materials during interview process.
