Job summary

Ace Precision Machining Corporation in Wisconsin seeks a precision TIG welder to join our aerospace-grade shop. You will weld stainless steel, aluminum, and exotic alloys with GTAW, read sketches, and work with fixtures and a weld positioner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years TIG welding experience.
• Demonstrated ability to weld on welding qualification materials during interview.
• Solid understanding of weld symbols and fabrication fundamentals.
• Strong attention to detail, pride in craftsmanship, and a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Precision TIG (GTAW) welding of stainless steel, aluminum, nickel and cobalt alloys, between 0.020" and 0.064" thick
• Fit, assemble and weld complex components using fixtures, tools, and weld positioner
• Read and interpret sketches, routings, process control sheets, and weld symbols
• Visually inspect all weldments; identify potential indications; and repair and reports defects per our advanced quality system requirements
• Work as part of a collaborative team to build quality products that you're proud to put your name on
