Job summary

Ace Precision Machining Corporation is seeking a skilled TIG welder for our aerospace-focused fabrication team in the United States. You will perform precision TIG (GTAW) welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and specialty alloys, with thin materials from 0.020" to 0.064".

You will read sketches and weld symbols, inspect weldments, and report defects within our quality system. This role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities to grow with a culture of excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, with minimum 2 years of TIG welding experience.
• Ability to weld on qualification materials during interview.
• Solid understanding of weld symbols and fabrication fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Precision TIG (GTAW) welding of stainless steel, aluminum, nickel and cobalt alloys, between 0.020" and 0.064" thick.
• Fit, assemble and weld complex components using fixtures, tools, and weld positioner.
• Read and interpret sketches, routings, process control sheets, and weld symbols.
• Visually inspect all weldments; identify potential indications; and repair and reports defects per our advanced quality system requirements.
• Work as part of a collaborative team to build quality products that you're proud to put your name on
