Job summary

Chromalloy Carson City is seeking a Welder with strong TIG welding skills to support manufacturing operations in an inert chamber. This role is hands-on, focused on quality, consistency, and strict process adherence.

If you take pride in clean welds, repeatable results, and working safely in a structured shop environment, this could be a good fit. 1st shift with potential overtime and a $500 sign-on bonus are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to read and write in English.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable using basic measuring tools.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willing and able to pass job-related testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding, including welding in an inert chamber.
• Weld parts to manufacturing specifications with consistent quality.
• Read and understand blueprints and work instructions.
• Prep parts using grit blasting and other surface prep methods.
• Follow safe machine practices at all times.
• Use standard shop and welding materials correctly.
• Inspect your own work using handheld measuring tools.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards in your area.
• Follow the Quality Control Manual (QCM).
• Work within ISO / Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS) quality requirements.
• Comply with Company RSM and all health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Support continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
• Work with integrity and follow the Corporate Code of Ethical Standards.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Help out with other shop tasks as needed.
