Job summary

Chromalloy Carson City is seeking a skilled Welder to support aerospace manufacturing with TIG welding in an inert chamber. You will weld parts to exact specifications, read blueprints, and ensure quality in a structured shop.

This hands-on role emphasizes safety, precision, and teamwork. Shift is 1st, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with a sign-on bonus of $500. Training and compliance with ISO/TCS standards are required.

Qualifications

• Must have TIG welding experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Competence with basic measuring tools and gauges.
• Commitment to safe, clean, and precise welds.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding, including welding in an inert chamber.
• Weld parts to manufacturing specifications with consistent quality.
• Read blueprints and work instructions accurately.
• Prep parts using grit blasting or surface prep methods.
• Follow safety practices and proper machine operation.
• Inspect own work with handheld measuring tools.
• Maintain area safety and housekeeping.
• Adhere to Quality Control Manual and ISO/TCS quality requirements.
