Qualifications

• Proven TIG welding experience, preferably in architectural fabrication.
• Experience with stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel.
• Ability to read architectural shop and fabrication drawings.
• Strong fitting, measuring, cutting, grinding, and assembly skills.
• Maintain high-quality welds suitable for exposed architectural applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding and fabrication of architectural railing systems and components.
• Fabricate handrails, guardrails, posts, frames, brackets, and other metal components.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and project specifications.
• Measure, cut, fit, weld, grind, and assemble components per drawings.
• Produce clean welds for exposed architectural applications.
• Operate saws, grinders, drills, plasma cutters, and welding equipment.
• Verify dimensions, alignment, and angles before final welding.
• Inspect completed work for quality and conformance with project requirements.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Collaborate with fabricators, finishers, and shop personnel to meet schedules.
