Qualifications

• 2 years experience with the layout and fitting of handrails.
• Ability to layout the pitch of a handrail.
• Ability and know how to cope and fish mouth pipe ends for good fit-up.
• 3 years TIG welding aluminum and stainless steel.
• 3 years MIG welding aluminum and stainless steel.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to read a WPS sheet.
• Ability to safely operate overhead crane and tow motor to move material.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to read Weld Symbols.
• Job shop experience.
• Ability to pass a 3G weld test.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble handrails using MIG welding principles.
• Work with flux core welding where applicable.
• Interpret blueprints and weld symbols to ensure accurate fit and welds.
• Operate overhead crane and tow motor to move materials safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized shop and comply with safety standards.
