Job summary

RealTruck is hiring a Welder for our Lafayette, IN facility. Responsibilities include TIG welding stainless parts, grinding and finishing, and training on the laser welder. Must TIG weld multiple gauges of stainless steel according to specs and drawings.

The role supports daily production with set-up, welding in multiple positions, and quality inspection to ensure defect-free results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum one year of TIG welding experience; or a recent manufacturing/technical program certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on products.
• Set up components for welding according to specifications, work orders and prints.
• Cut aluminum to specification.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures for flaws.
• Work from specifications, drawings and welding symbols.
