Job summary

AT&F in Cleveland is hiring a TIG Welder to fabricate large, complex parts for submarine programs. You will weld stainless steels (including C-276, Inconel 600), follow ASME code welding, and read customer drawings to ensure quality.

Ideal candidates bring TIG, GTAW, FCAW, GMAW experience, pipefitting and shop math; HS diploma required. Pay is $23–$28 per hour, benefits start day one, and opportunities for growth within our fabricating team.

Qualifications

  • Must have proven TIG welding experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings.
  • Experience with GTAW, FCAW and GMAW processes.
  • Experience with pipefitting and shop math.
  • HS diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

  • TIG welding and fabricating on custom parts.
  • TIG welding of stainless steels (C-276, Inconel 600).
  • ASME Code welding and Military Specifications compliance.
  • Reading and interpreting customer blueprints/drawings.
  • Grinding, sanding, and cutting (oxy-fuel & hand plasma).
  • Follow lean principles, safety, and quality standards.
  • General welding and shop duties as needed.

The Goals And Challenges Of This Role
  • TIG welding and fabricating on custom parts

What You Should Bring To This Role
  • Demonstrated success in TIG welding
  • Desire to constantly improve your welding abilities
  • Desire and ability to use shop math
  • Must be able to read and understand job instructions
  • Experience in GTAW, FCAW and GMAW Spray Transfer.
  • Experience in Pipefitting
  • Experience in welding of Carbon, Stainless, or Nickel based alloys
  • Strong overall mechanical aptitude.
  • HS diploma or equivalent

Pay Range: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum for the role. Starting pay depends on your skills, experience, and ability to perform the job.
