Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• 1-2 years welding experience in manufacturing, automotive, or related environment or completion of a welding apprenticeship.
• Proficient understanding of welding techniques, metallurgy, and welding symbols.
• Ability to read blueprints and job orders to determine welding processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute welding operations to join, fabricate, and repair metal.
• Set up and operate manual and robotic welding equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, to determine processes.
• Ensure welding meets standards and specifications.
• Inspect welded surfaces for defects and ensure conformity with specs.
• Maintain welding equipment in good condition.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals.
• Document production data accurately and timely.
