Job summary

An engineering company based in New Berlin, Wisconsin is looking for a skilled welder to set up and finish weld various products. Ideal candidates should have 3 years of experience in MIG and TIG welding, be able to interpret technical drawings, and should enjoy independent work. Job hours are Monday through Friday from 2 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Responsibilities include fitting and aligning metal parts for welding, inspecting finished welds for quality, and maintaining equipment as necessary.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in welding with vocational training.
• Proficient in GMAW and GTAW processes; other welding methods a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret prints, drawings, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and finish weld a variety of weldments.
• Fit, align, and weld metal parts following specified procedures.
• Inspect completed welds for defects and measure workpieces.
