Qualifications

• Proficient understanding of welding techniques, metallurgy, and welding symbols.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and job orders.
• Knowledge of safety standards related to welding and metalworking.
• Understanding of welding equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Execute welding operations to join, fabricate, and repair metal.
• Set up and operate manual and semi-automatic (robotic) welding equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and job orders.
• Ensure welding is completed to the required standards and specifications.
• Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects and ensure conformity with specifications.
• Maintain welding equipment in good working condition.
