Lake Air Products is seeking a 1st shift welder for our Roseville, MN location. If you have TIG experience and enjoy hands-on work, this role offers competitive pay and strong growth potential.

Responsibilities include laying out parts, inspecting welds, and selecting appropriate welding methods while following quality standards. Requires 7+ years in TIG, MIG, and Tack-weld, with ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in TIG, MIG, and Tack-weld (TIG welding preferred).
• Reading blueprints and performing all necessary measurements.
• Excellent people skills with ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team.

Responsabilités

• Lay out, position, and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications using measuring tools.
• Observe tests on welded surfaces (hydrostatic, x-ray, and dimension tolerance).
• Develop templates or tooling and other work aids to hold and align parts.
• Determine required equipment and welding methods applying metallurgy knowledge.
• Inspect finished products and spare parts to ensure specifications are met.
• Inspect grooves, angles, or gaps using measuring instruments.
• Weld metal using gas tungsten arc, metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, and other welding methods.
