Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Precision Welder for our client in Jacksonville, FL. You will perform TIG, MIG and Stick welding on stainless steel, Hastelloy-X, Inconel, aluminum, and steels, reading blueprints and weld specifications to ensure dimensional and metallurgical accuracy.

This role offers day and night shifts, a safety-focused, hands-on environment with opportunities to grow within a reputable industrial repair organization.

Qualifications

• Experience with TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW), and Stick (SMAW) welding.
• Weld a variety of alloys including stainless steel, Hastelloy-X, Inconel, aluminum, and steels.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding specifications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in an industrial shop.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG, MIG and Stick welding on various alloys to specification.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, repair procedures and weld specs.
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently, following safety and quality standards.
• Weld build-up, restoration, fabrication and repair of turbine and industrial components.

What's the Job?

• Perform TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW), and Stick (SMAW) welding on various alloys including stainless steel, Hastelloy-X, Inconel, aluminum, and steels.

• Weld materials as thin as 0.060 inches while maintaining dimensional and metallurgical integrity.

• Perform weld build-up, restoration, fabrication, and repair of turbine and industrial components.

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, repair procedures, and welding specifications accurately.

• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with safety policies and quality standards.

What's Needed?

• Experience with TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW), and Stick (SMAW) welding processes.

• Ability to weld a variety of alloys including stainless steel, Hastelloy-X, Inconel, aluminum, and steels.

• Knowledge of welding repair, fabrication, and welding inspection techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and welding specifications.

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in an industrial shop environment.
