Advantage Technical is seeking skilled Manual Welder / TIG Welder to join our client’s team. You will perform precision TIG welding on stainless steel, handle fabrication and finishing to meet strict sanitary and cosmetic standards.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years TIG welding with stainless steel, the ability to read drawings and weld symbols, and to pass a weld test and assessment. Proactive safety and attention to quality are essential.

Qualifications

Manual Welder / TIG Welder

Pay Range: $26-$32 per hour (Direct Hire)

About the Role

We are seeking skilled Manual/TIG Welders to join our growing client's team. You will work primarily with stainless steel, performing precision TIG welding, fabrication, and finishing work that meets strict quality, sanitary, and aesthetic standards.

Primary Duties

• Execute highprecision TIG (GTAW) welding on stainlesssteel components.
• Set up and maintain welding equipment, ensuring proper gas flow, torch setup, and filler selection.
• Fit, align, and tack assemblies prior to final weld.
• Grind, polish, and finish welds to meet sanitary and cosmetic requirements.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and weld symbols accurately.
• Inspect welds and verify compliance with specifications and ASME Section IX.
• Mentor junior welders and assist with complex welding tasks.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization in the work area.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years TIG welding experience with stainless steel.
• Strong understanding of stainlesssteel welding fundamentals (heat control, back purging).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and weld symbols.
• Familiarity with common joint types and tubing/fitting identification.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Must pass weld test and PI behavioral assessment.

Preferred

• Pipefitting experience.
• Aluminum welding experience (secondary to stainless steel).
