Qualified Staffing is hiring a TIG Welder for a manufacturing company in Lawrenceville, GA! This is a temporary assignment lasting around 6 months.

Schedule: Mon-Thurs 6:00am-4:30pm

Pay: $25-$30, Based on Experience

Responsibilities:

• Welds aluminum, steel, and stainless-steel parts with TIG welding equipment.
• Positions parts in jigs or fixtures on bench or floor, or clamps parts together along layout marks.
• Selects torch, torch tips, filler rod, and flux according to welding chart specifications or type and thickness of metal being welded.
• Connects regulator valves and hoses to gas cylinders and welding torches.
• Adjusts regulator valves and performs welding operations.
• Examines welds for bead size and other specifications.
• Chips or grinds off excess weld, slag, or spatter.
• Cleans and degreases parts as necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience Required:

• One-year certificate from college or technical school.
• 3+ years related welding experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical components, blueprints, and layouts.
