Job description

Join to apply for the Tig Welder - 1st Shift - Weekend schedule - Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon - Double Pay Sunday role at Clemens Food Group.

Seeking a 1st Shift Fabricator responsible for operating a variety of machines and tools to produce precision parts and assemblies. They may also fabricate and modify parts to make or repair equipment. Experience in sheet metal layout, bend allowances, brake, and shear are required. The ideal candidate will have a team-driven attitude, outstanding work ethic, and the ability to work with little or no supervision while maintaining quality of work.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Fabricate from blueprints and drawings.
  2. Weld, fabricate, and repair machinery in the plant as needed.
  3. Repair equipment as required.
  4. Install fabricated parts in the plant.
  5. Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  6. Promote safety and help the team reach KPI goals.
  7. Work in alignment with company core values.

This position requires the ability to fabricate and weld parts as needed.

Skill Level:

  • Mastered all required skills for the position.
  • Solid Stick and TIG welding skills.
  • Ability to set up and operate all cutting, forming, and welding equipment available in the shop.
  • Ability to read blueprints and perform layout work.

Plant Safety: Follows company rules, policies, and procedures regarding safety.

Food Safety: Adheres to company and USDA food safety policies and procedures.

Schedule: 1st Shift, Friday-Monday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
