Job summary

Doncasters Groton, CT is seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join our team turning sheet metal into precision components for aerospace and industrial applications.

You will be responsible for welding operations to meet customer and international standards, with duties including weld repair of metals such as stainless steel, cobalt and nickel alloys. This role supports 40 hours per week with second shift and weekend options, and offers PTO, a competitive 401K and medical insurance.

Qualifications

• High school or technical school completion is required.
• Experience in TIG welding is required.
• Demonstrated attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.

At Doncasters we have an exciting opportunity for a Welder to join our team in Groton, Connecticut!

Hours – 40 hours a week

• 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday
• Weekend Shift: Friday-Sunday

The Role

As a TIG Welder you are responsible for ensuring that company products and processes meet Customer, National and International standards, specifications, and accreditations. You will also be responsible for weld repair of various types of metals, including stainless steel, cobalt and nickel alloy castings.
