TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) or "Turgen" (Tungsten) welder with 2 years of experience performs basic assembly, metal preparation, and precision welding tasks under direct supervision.

Core Responsibilities

• Operate Equipment: Set up and run basic TIG welding machines, gas regulators, and torches.
• Prepare Materials: Clean, cut, grind, and deburr metal parts (such as stainless steel or aluminum) before welding.
• Read Blueprints: Follow simple technical drawings, measurements, and work orders to align components correctly.
• Execute Welds: Produce clean, foundational TIG welds on standard or non-critical parts.
• Inspect Quality: Check finished pieces for obvious flaws, cracks, or surface errors.
• Maintain Safety: Wear required protective gear and keep the work area clean and safe.

Requirements

• Experience: 2 years of hands-on TIG welding practice (often including school shop time or entry-level manufacturing work).
