Job summary

The Blue Collar Recruiter of Jacksonville South is seeking a dependable TIG welder/fabricator to join a first-shift team in Jacksonville, FL. You will read shop drawings, measure precisely, and weld thin-gauge stainless to exact specs, building cabinets, tables, and shelves.

You will perform scratch-start TIG on 14–18 gauge stainless, inspect welds for quality, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. Experience with blueprints and basic measurement tools is required; lift up to 50 lbs and stand

Qualifications

1+ year of manufacturing, welding, or fabrication experience preferred.
Strongly preferred: TIG experience on 14–18 gauge stainless and familiarity with scratch-start TIG (no foot pedal).
Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.
Proficiency with basic tools and precise measurement techniques.

Responsibilities

TIG weld and fabricate stainless steel cabinets, tables, shelves, and related assemblies.
Perform scratch-start TIG welding (no foot pedal) on 14–18 gauge stainless steel.
Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and fabrication specifications.
Measure, cut, fit, assemble, and weld to exact dimensions.
Inspect finished work for weld quality, fit, and finish.
