Job summary

Lakeside Manufacturing in Milwaukee, WI, seeks a skilled 1st Shift TIG Welder to join our stainless steel cart team. This role performs precision welding and assembly to meet high-quality standards and customer specifications, reading blueprints and ensuring proper finishes on subassemblies and tables.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma/GED with 1–3 years welding experience, can operate welding equipment and power tools, and is committed to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma/GED equivalent with 1–3 years related experience.
• Ability to operate pneumatic and power tools, welding equipment, polishers, buffers, and lift equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient math skills for measurements and tolerances.
• Forklift certification is a plus and may be required.

Responsibilities

• TIG weld carts, subassemblies and tables per procedures and specs.
• Read parts lists, blueprints, and drawings to weld and assemble products.
• Perform grinding, buffing and polishing to meet specifications.
• Perform final assembly of products and sub-assemblies as required.
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork and labels.
• Follow safety rules and maintain cleanliness of the work area.
• Assist with assembly operations in other areas as needed.
