We are looking for an experienced Welder/Fitter/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. Our ideal applicant will have experience in the following welding processes: GTAW, GMAW and FCAW on stainless steel. Experience in stainless steel pipe welding, pressure vessels and tank welding is required . Strong attention to detail, quality, and precision will be crucial.

Our Company

We are a Manufacturing company that produces fluid transfer systems, piping modules, distillation systems, heat exchangers, tanks, pressure vessels, and more for Automotive and Industrial applications. We are an ASME code shop that holds a U, H and R stamp.

Responsibilities

• High-quality TIG/MIG welding of stainless steel with proficiency in pipe welding
• Interpret blueprints/drawings to fabricate based on written specifications
• Measure, cut, and bend various materials of pipe and tubing sizes
• Provide attention to detail to ensure final product is free of errors/defects
• Keep work area/shop clean and organized
• Assist in equipment/facility maintenance
• Follow all safety rules and quality standards

Skills/Qualifications

• Welding certification preferred (ASME U or B31.3)
• Basic math skills and strong understanding of how to properly use all measuring equipment
• Ability to operate basic machinery (drill press, grinders, and various saws)
• Ability to work in a team environment - and independently as a self-starter
• High school diploma or equivalent, technical school and 5 years+ related experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills to find root cause of issues and apply logical solutions
• 8-10 Hour shift, Monday - Friday (with occasional overtime required)
• Industrial work environment (Clean and organized facility in Fowlerville, MI)
• Friendly and hardworking staff, with a supportive small team environment
