Job summary

Ichor Systems is seeking a Weld Operator 1 for Sauk Rapids, MN. You will run welding machines, including TIG and orbital welders, on stainless steel and high-purity materials, and follow standard operating procedures to produce precise welds per prints.

Ideal candidates have a 2-year welding tech program or equivalent, basic PC skills, manual dexterity, and the ability to read technical drawings. Safety and quality are essential, with lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-year welding trade program or equivalent.
• Welding experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding prints.
• Attention to detail and precision in welds.
• Familiarity with high-purity materials and clean-room handling.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding machines including TIG and orbital welding.
• Follow Ichor SOPs for manufacturing duties.
• Study prints/specs to plan welds and layouts with welding equipment.
• Inspect finished welds for conformance to prints.
• Maintain quality and safety standards in all tasks.
