Job summary

Applied Energy Systems, Inc. in Malvern, PA is seeking a TIG Welder to join our Production Department. You will manually TIG weld and orbitally weld high-purity gas system components, reading drawings and specifications to ensure quality.

Applicants should have 3+ years of GTAW welding experience, good vision and dexterity, and the ability to stand for long periods. A signing bonus is available and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Quality/detail oriented with the ability to achieve repeatable results.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials by cutting, fitting, cleaning, and aligning components before welding.
• Weld both large and small diameter stainless steel tubing.
• Read project drawings, specifications, work orders, and procedures.
• Position, align, and set-up components according to specifications.
• Identify faulty components and/or test and inspect welded surfaces for quality.
• Perform standard TIG and tack welding procedures.
• Safely operate orbital welding equipment.
• Complete production paperwork and recordkeeping.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area (5S).
• Willing to work overtime as required.
• Effectively interface with team members for component and equipment resources.
