Job summary

Chart, Inc. seeks a skilled welder to operate orbital TIG equipment and weld stainless steel and aluminum vessels. You will read blueprints, interpret welding symbols, and perform inspections to ensure weld integrity. The role requires adherence to safety standards and active participation in production workflows.

Responsibilities include operating cranes and forklifts, fabricating and repairing metal parts, and performing welds with minimal supervision. Employment is on-site in Tulsa, OK.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Completion of a Welder Training Program.
• Proficient in all positions with GTAW.
• Proficient in knowledge of blueprint reading and welding symbols.
• Proficient in visual inspection.
• Must complete and pass welding test.
• Ability to adhere to Company Standards and Values.
• Meet attendance and performance expectations.
• Interact with co-workers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Experience operating an orbital TIG machine.
• Experience welding stainless steel and/or aluminum base materials.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and aerial lift.
• Welding of vessels through established manufacturing processes with minimal instruction and supervision.
• Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal using appropriate welding techniques.
• Work on thin wall piping.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine welding process.
• Inspect completed welds for structural soundness.
• Promote and support safety and production.
