Job summary

Velocity Dynamics, LLC, a subsidiary of Cleanwater1, Inc., seeks a Welder for TIG and MIG welding of frames and sub-assemblies at our Grain Valley, Missouri facility. The Welder will review blueprints, source materials, measure and cut to spec, and select welding methods to join metals.

The ideal candidate has welding certification, knowledge of metallurgy, and the ability to read shop drawings, with strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Welding certification required.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings/blueprints.
• Knowledge of metallurgy and welding techniques (304 & 316 SS).
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints prior to starting a project.
• Source materials and measure/cut to blueprint specs.
• Select appropriate welding equipment and methods.
• Weld components using TIG and MIG processes.
• Weld in multiple positions and verify tolerances.
• Operate fabrication equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient shop environment.
• Adhere to safety policies and project timelines.
