Job summary

Employbridge is seeking a Welder - Direct Hire in Rogers, MN to perform GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) welding on stainless components. You will work with the Production Manager to meet quality, safety, and drawing specifications.

The role requires at least 1 year of welding experience, the ability to read blueprints, basic math, and careful measurement. Compensation starts at $28.00/hr with increases to $30.00/hr after 30 days plus a $1.00/hr shift differential; fulltime hours Monday-Thursday

Qualifications

• 1 year of GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) welding experience
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong math skills (proportions, percentages, area, circumference)
• Ability to read measuring instruments accurately
• Experience operating welding and fabrication equipment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Responsibilities

• Perform GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) welding to specifications.
• Create high-quality welds meeting required standards.
• Set up and operate welding and brazing equipment.
• Use tape measures, gauges and other inspection tools.
• Inspect in-process and finished work for quality.
• Maintain equipment, tools and fixtures in the work area.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow housekeeping, safety and sanitation procedures.
