Job summary

Litania Sports Group, including Gill Athletics and Porter Athletic, is hiring a TIG/MIG Welder for the 2nd shift in Champaign, IL. The role focuses on welding steel and aluminum components, reading blueprints, and maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Earn $20-$25/hour with a $2/hour shift differential, plus up to 20% bonus potential. Schedule is Monday-Thursday, 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM, with overtime opportunities and full-time benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven TIG and/or MIG welding experience on steel and/or aluminum.
• Ability to perform continuous welds up to 24 inches preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure to verify tolerances.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG and/or MIG welding on steel and aluminum components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and specifications.
• Set up welding equipment, including jigs, gas pressure, wire speed, and amperage.
• Complete welds according to quality, safety, and production standards.
• Inspect finished products for defects and accuracy.
• Perform water-tight welds and occasional pipe welding.
• Remove weld splatter and maintain a clean work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Move completed products to the next stage of the manufacturing process.
