Job summary

Litania Sports Group is seeking skilled TIG/MIG welders for a first-shift role in Champaign, IL. You will weld steel and aluminum parts, read blueprints, set up equipment, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, with potential overtime and a competitive hourly pay range. Bonus eligibility up to 20% and a team-focused manufacturing environment support ongoing quality and efficiency improvements across products used in schools, recreation

Qualifications

• Welding experience with TIG and/or MIG on steel and/or aluminum.
• Able to read blueprints and tolerances.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG and/or MIG welding on steel and aluminum components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and specifications.
• Set up welding equipment, including jigs, gas pressure, wire speed, and amperage.
• Complete welds according to quality, safety, and production standards.
• Inspect finished products for defects and accuracy.
• Measure and verify work using templates, straightedges, and other measuring tools.
• Perform water-tight welds and occasional pipe welding up to 8 inches.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $20-$25/hour, based on experience and demonstrated welding proficiency

Bonus Eligible: Up to 20% bonus potential, paid bi-weekly and quarterly

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with overtime opportunities as needed

Position Type: Hourly, Full-Time

What You'll Do

• Perform TIG and/or MIG welding on steel and aluminum components
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and specifications
• Set up welding equipment, including jigs, gas pressure, wire speed, and amperage
• Complete welds according to quality, safety, and production standards
• Inspect finished products for defects and accuracy
• Measure and verify work using templates, straightedges, and other measuring tools
• Perform water-tight welds and occasional pipe welding up to 8 inches
• Remove weld splatter and maintain a clean work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Move completed products to the next stage of the manufacturing process

What We're Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Proven TIG and/or MIG welding experience on steel and/or aluminum
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand tolerances
• Ability to perform continuous welds up to 24 inches preferred
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and work in a drug-free environment

Starting pay is based on welding experience, skill level, and demonstrated proficiency.
