Job summary

Alinabal - Manufacturing Facilities in Greer, SC seeks a skilled TIG/MIG Metal Fabrication Technician to perform precision welding, read blueprints, and maintain tight tolerances. You will meet schedules using the E2 system and self-inspect for quality before final checks.

The role requires strong TIG skills with MIG versatility, lean/6S awareness, and safe, organized work habits. A 5+ year manufacturing background and clean driving record are expected.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to weld thin-gauge materials with strong penetration and clean appearance.
• Proficient TIG skills; working MIG knowledge.
• Blueprint reading and technical comprehension aligned to machine operation.
• Basic math and computer literacy; experience with inspection gauges.
• Organized, self-starting, able to prioritize and multitask.
• Effective communicator and solid team contributor.
• Continuous improvement mindset—challenge and improve processes.
• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision TIG welding and apply MIG knowledge when required.
• Read blueprints and technical docs and hold specified tolerances.
• Meet time standards and delivery schedules using the E2 management system.
• Self-inspect work and verify it meets quality requirements before final inspection.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and proper fluid levels.
• Return fixtures and tooling at job completion; keep area orderly.
• Identify setup-reduction and Lean/6S opportunities and communicate them to the 6S lead.
• Escalate routine manufacturing issues when needed and coordinate with teammates to keep workflow smooth.
• Always operate safely.
