COMPLETE NETWORK INTEGRATION INC in Glen Allen, Virginia seeks an experienced Tier III Systems Engineer to serve as the senior technical authority for our managed services clients. This role is the final escalation point for complex issues, leads infrastructure projects, and advises client leadership on IT solutions.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong problem solving, project ownership, and the ability to communicate with client executives.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 platform including Entra, Exchange, Intune, Purview.
• Windows and/or Linux server environments.
• Google Workspace Admin platform experience.
• Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar).
• Networking, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), and cybersecurity basics.
• Strong troubleshooting methodology and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Escalations: act as final escalation point for Tier I and II support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex, high-impact issues across client environments.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.
• Mentor Tier I & II engineers on advanced troubleshooting.
• Lead projects related to clients' IT infrastructure: server deployments, migrations, virtualization, and cloud initiatives.
• Balance project work with high-priority operational support.
• Act as trusted technical advisor to client stakeholders and translate needs into secure IT solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.

CNI is seeking an experienced Tier III Systems Engineer to serve as the senior technical authority for our managed services clients. This role acts as the final escalation point for complex technical issues while also leading infrastructure projects and advising client leadership on best-fit IT solutions.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned systems engineer who combines deep technical expertise with strong problem-solving skills, project ownership, and the ability to communicate confidently with both technical teams and client executives.

The candidate will be working in our Glen Allen Virginia office.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Escalations


• Serve as the final escalation point for Tier I and Tier II support teams


• Troubleshoot and resolve complex, high-impact issues across client environments


• Perform deep root-cause analysis and implement long-term, sustainable solutions


• Mentor and guide Tier I & II engineers on advanced troubleshooting and best practices

Infrastructure & Project Delivery

• Lead and execute projects related to clients’ overall IT infrastructure, including:


• Server deployments and migrations


• Virtualization platforms


• Network architecture improvements


• Cloud initiatives


• Security enhancements


• Own projects from design through implementation and documentation


• Balance project work with high-priority operational support

Client Advisory & Strategy

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to client points of contact and C-level stakeholders


• Translate business needs into secure, scalable, and cost-effective IT solutions


• Provide guidance on infrastructure roadmap planning and technology decisions


• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences

Technical Expertise Required

• Advanced knowledge of:


• Microsoft 365 platform including Entra, Exchange, Intune, Purview


• Windows and/or Linux server environments


• Google Workspace Admin platform


• Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar)


• Networking (routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs)


• Public and private cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.)


• Cybersecurity principles and best practices


• Strong troubleshooting methodology and documentation skills


• Experience operating in a managed services or multi-client environment preferred

• $400/month tax-free for employees
