Job summary

The Bison Group, LLC is seeking a Tier 3 Network Operations Engineer in Reston, VA. You will design and install network projects, produce high-level technical docs, and collaborate with teams to solve complex problems. Travel to multiple sites may be required.

Ideal candidates hold IAT II and CCNA, and an active TS/SCI with CI Poly or ability to obtain CI Poly before start. Strong written and verbal communication is essential for coordinating across disciplines.

Qualifications

• IAT II and CCNA certifications are required.
• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly or TS/SCI with ability to obtain CI Poly prior to starting.
• Minimum education/experience aligned with listed options.

Responsibilities

• Design and install network projects at a site or locale.
• Facilitate engineering data calls.
• Identify network changes to improve monitoring, management, and operations.
• Troubleshoot network failures and accessibility issues.
• Develop implementation and deployment documentation.
• Develop network designs to meet customer requirements.
• Lead testing of new hardware or software for performance and interoperability.
• Travel to other sites for network operations and administration activities.
