Job summary

The Bison Group LLC is seeking a Tier 3 Network Operations Engineer to design, implement, and optimize complex network solutions. You will lead projects requiring coordination across teams, produce high-level docs, and support customers with varying technical backgrounds.

Candidates must hold IAT II and CCNA, with an active TS/SCI clearance and CI Poly or the ability to obtain one before start. Willingness to travel to client sites and develop deployment plans is essential.

Qualifications

• IAT II and CCNA certifications required.
• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly or ability to obtain CI Poly before starting.
• Travel to other sites required as part of network operations and administration.

Responsibilities

• Network implementation and installation of technical projects within a site or locale.
• Facilitating engineering design data calls.
• Identify and recommend network changes that enhance operational efficiencies for network monitoring, management, and operations.
• Troubleshooting network failures and accessibility issues.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Develop network-related implementation and deployment documentation.
• Develop network designs that meet customer requirements efficiently and effectively.
• Lead research and testing of new or modified hardware or software products to determine performance and interoperability.
• Design and implement new solutions.
• Will require travel to other sites for network operations and administration activities.
• May require unpacking, moving network components of average weight and volume.
