Job summary

nou Systems, Inc. (nSI) is a 100% employee-owned company focused on defense, cybersecurity, and high-tech engineering. We seek a Tier 2 IT Systems Support Specialist to join a hands-on IT team across five offices and a classified lab.

You will own escalated issues, manage Linux environments, and assist with development tools and CI/CD workflows. Candidates should have solid help desk experience, comfort with Linux, and a desire to grow into systems administration and DevOps work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT support experience, including at least 1 year in a Tier 2 or escalation role.
• Must possess an active Secret security clearance or be able to obtain one.
• Must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for this position.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the escalation point for help desk tickets; troubleshoot complex hardware, software, network, and account issues.
• Support Windows and Linux endpoints, hardware, and peripherals.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding, including identity provisioning and device setup.
• Troubleshoot identity and access issues across AD, Entra ID, and Okta MFA.
• Support Microsoft 365 (GCC High) services including Exchange Online, Teams, and Teams Phone.
• Write and maintain knowledge base articles and procedures; mentor Tier 1 staff.
