SageCor Solutions LLC. Serving Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, SageCor provides complete engineering services and full lifecycle System Engineering for high-performance computing, data analytics, and information technologies.

The position is Tier 2 help desk support with rotating shifts to maintain a secure, stable operating environment across multiple systems and platforms. Experience in IT operations, Linux/Windows administration, and incident response is required.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in IT operations, system administration, or SRE.
• Experience performing second-level troubleshooting for system, application, or network issues.
• Experience using enterprise monitoring and incident management platforms such as ServiceNow, JIRA, or EMS.
• Experience with Linux or Windows system administration.
• Experience escalating and coordinating with Tier 3 teams for complex problem resolution.
• Ability to analyze logs, correlate events, and validate system-level issues.
• Ability to work rotating round-the-clock shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• HS diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of start date.

Job Description:

• Tier 2 help desk support
• Manages, supports and maintains a reliable environment for the
  site in order to ensure the stability and security of multiple
  systems/platforms that are run or operated in that environment.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in IT operations, system administration, or SRE
• Experience performing second-level troubleshooting for system, application, or

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting on-call, after-hours, or recall-based operations models
• Experience scripting, automation tools, or troubleshooting frameworks
• Experience analyzing dashboards, mission applications, system metrics, or
  infrastructure health tools
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering and mission teams in a
  high-tempo environment
• Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills, to communicate
  effectively with technical and non-technical staff
• Associate's degree in IT, Cyber, or Engineering preferred; Bachelor's degree in IT,
  Cyber, or Engineering a plus
• Industry cloud foundational AWS Cloud Practitioner, CompTIA Cloud+, or MS Azure
  Fundamentals Certification
• Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification
• Security+, Network+, or Linux+ Certification
