Job summary

SageCor Solutions LLC is seeking a data engineering and operations professional to troubleshoot and optimize complex data systems in the Maryland and Greater Washington D.C. area.

You will help ensure reliability, performance, and security of critical platforms while collaborating with a Kanban data team to support cloud software and infrastructure. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in operations or data engineering, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to obtain

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in operations support, systems administration, data operations, or technical support.
• Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues across applications, infrastructure, or data environments.
• Knowledge of data platforms, databases, ETL or data flow processes, and system monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize operational issues, and respond effectively in high-tempo environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or Engineering field
• Ability to obtain Security+ Certification within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• -Experience working in secure, regulated, or classified environments preferred. Knowledge of AWS services, including RDS and S3
• -Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, or related orchestration tools
• -Experience designing and implementing real-time data and streaming architectures using Apache Kafka
• -Experience extending Apache NiFi by writing custom processors, controller services, and utilities using Java.
