Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work/military experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in systems administration with Tier 2 support capabilities.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required to start.
• Current 8570 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+ CE, SSCP, or CCNA-Security) required to start. Security+ CE preferred.
• Must obtain the appropriate Computing Environment (CE) training within six months of hire.

Aufgaben

• Provide Tier 2 support for incident resolution and user issues in a mixed Windows/Linux enterprise environment.
• Perform Linux system administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu), including user management, permissions, and basic performance diagnostics.
• Support Windows workstations and servers (Windows 10, Server 2012/2016) as required, including AD, DNS, DHCP and DFS.
• Troubleshoot application crashes, system performance issues, and connectivity problems.
• Deliver remote and on-site end-user desktop support, resolving escalated technical issues effectively and efficiently.
• Respond to service desk escalations using tools like ServiceNow; provide documentation and incident reporting.
• Collaborate with external teams to analyze and improve end-user experience.
• Participate in incident triage and real-time response efforts.
• Engage in special projects and contribute to long-term solutions for recurring system issues.
• Maintain compliance with security standards, including 8570 IA certification requirements.
