In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing the productivity of CoStar Group employees by serving as the primary point of contact for IT support and issue resolution. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving issues related to hardware, proprietary and third-party software, LANs, and VDI’s. Support will be provided through multiple channels including phone, email, remote access tools, and in-person assistance. We’re looking for someone who thrives on delivering exceptional customer service, takes initiative, solves problems efficiently, and communicates effectively. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing multiple high-priority tasks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely and professional support at all times. This position is located in Arlington, VA and offers a schedule of 4 days on-site and 1 day remote. Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance, assistance, coordination and follow up on client questions, problems, or malfunctions of all systems applications, hardware and software, installed and maintained by the company.
  • Participate in telephone support rotation providing support to users in offices across the US via remote assistance tools.
  • Assist in user account administration, including onboarding/offboarding and access control.
  • Document problems and solutions in the Service Desk ticketing system.
  • Maintain an inventory of IT assets and assist in lifecycle management.
  • Contribute to knowledge base development for recurring issues and support documentation.
  • Inform management of potential problems and identifies problem trends.
  • Install hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers etc.
  • Install, configure, maintain and upgrade computer hardware and software.
  • Provide videoconference administration and support as needed.
  • Escalate complex problems to senior IT staff or specialized teams as needed.
  • Any other duties and special projects as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college.
  • A track record of commitment to prior employers.
  • 2+ years of experience in corporate IT or Service Desk role.
  • Proficiency with Windows and macOS environments.
  • Experience supportingActive Directory, Azure and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift/move equipment up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • O365 Administration experience.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS).
  • IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft MTA/MCSA, etc.).
  • Experience supporting mobile devices such as iPads, iPhones, etc.
