Job summary

ShorePoint in Washington, DC is seeking a Tier 2 Analyst to support enterprise SOC operations by reviewing and responding to escalated tickets from Tier 1. You will apply cybersecurity expertise to improve incident detection and response.

In this role you will analyze threat intelligence, support detection across unclassified and classified environments, investigate alerts, and document findings in incident reports while collaborating with peers to improve workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years of relevant SOC/cybersecurity experience.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Review and respond to Tier 1 escalated tickets.
• Analyze threat intelligence to support detection and response.
• Support incident detection across unclassified and classified environments.
• Investigate alerts and escalate to Tier 3 when needed.
• Document findings and contribute to incident reports.
• Collaborate to improve detection workflows and escalation processes.
• Support continuous improvement of SOC processes and procedures.
