Qualifications

• US Citizenship and active Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree (2-4 yrs exp) or MS (0-2 yrs exp) in IT/CS or related field.
• Willingness to participate in On-Call and weekend work.
• Experience supporting virtual environments and Windows/Linux systems.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve access, connectivity, and authentication issues across VMs and shared resources.
• Provision, configure, and secure VMs and cloud infrastructure with best practices.
• Manage user and system access for cloud and on-premise environments.
• Monitor system health and user activity to detect security incidents and contain as needed.
• Maintain documentation in Jira, ServiceNow, ensuring traceability.
• Collaborate with end users to validate changes and escalate with logs.
• Balance fast ticket resolution with long-term supportability via scripting and escalation.
