Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Tier 1 Vulnerability Assessor to join the DHS CBP Security Operations Center program. The role focuses on vulnerability scanning of enterprise IT assets, research on threats, and writing security advisories.

You will participate in focused adversarial assessments as part of a team, reporting findings to leadership and engineers. Requirements include a 5-year BI background check, a relevant degree, and familiarity with CVE trends, STIGs, and compliance scanning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, IT, cyber security, or related field.
• 2+ years of related experience; cyber certifications may substitute for degree.
• Familiarity with IT security management in a complex enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Perform vulnerability research and analyze threats to the enterprise.
• Manage enterprise vulnerability compliance and directives (CISA).
• Present scan information to leadership, auditors, and engineers.
