Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Tier 3 Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our NOSC team, supporting DHS operations. The role requires a strong cyber security background, intelligence analysis, and experience with host/network monitoring, threat hunting, and forensics.

Ideal candidates hold a TS/SCI clearance with 7+ years as a senior cyber security analyst, and can develop actionable threat intelligence reports using tools like Splunk, Analyst1, CrowdStrike, Tanium, Proofpoint, and Zscaler.

Qualifications

• Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.
• BS in IT related field with 8–12 years in IT, or MS with 8+ years, including 7+ years at Tier III level.
• Experience with host-based and network-based security monitoring; able to develop/recommend security content (signatures, rules).
• Produce regular Cyber Threat Intelligence reports for peers, management, and customers for situational awareness.

Responsibilities

• Identify, track and investigate high-priority threat campaigns and threat actors; document TTPs (Techniques, Tactics and Procedures).
• Analyze and track the cyber threat landscape, including APTs and activity, to improve IT posture.
• Correlate intelligence data with internal logs and incidents using Splunk and Analyst1 to drive threat hunting.
• Conduct forensics related to advanced cyber threats, intrusion detection, and malware analysis.
• Research threat actors, tools, infrastructure, and TTPs using MITRE ATT&CK, Diamond Model, and related frameworks.
