Job summary

TEKsystems seeks a qualified Help Desk Support Technician to join a large enterprise service desk in the defense space. The role is a fully onsite contract position based in Sierra Vista, AZ, supporting incident resolution and service requests globally within the Army Enterprise Service Desk framework.

Responsibilities include Tier 1 problem resolution by phone or self-service, basic product guidance, and documentation in the ticketing system.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance is required or able to obtain/processed.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with a team.
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn in a defense environment.
• Military veterans and spouses welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Resolve Tier 1 technical problems via phone or self-service ticket for hardware, software, network, and access systems.
• Answer basic questions on installation, operation, configuration, and usage of products.
• Apply basic diagnostics to identify causes and recommend fixes.
• Escalate complex issues to higher tiers and document all interactions in the ticketing system.
