Job summary

Standard Textile Thomaston, Inc. in Thomaston, GA is seeking a dependable team member to operate warp trucks and support weaving operations.

This role involves moving and staging warp beams, inspecting beams, and maintaining pattern integrity while following strict safety protocols in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include reporting mechanical issues, loading and oiling equipment, and ensuring ends and patterns are correct.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Heavy lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying, climbing, reaching and handling.

• Report any mechanical issues
• Stage tie-equipment and warps for tie-back
• Avoid hitting beam head on other warps
• Scan all weave machine beams prior to moving into weave room
• Load, comb and/or lease warp to Ensure straightness
• Ensure all ends in pattern prior to tying
• Ensure patterns are correct
• Put machine in oil bath one time a week
• Follow plant safety rules
