Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a friendly Ticket Taker to join the Events team at Sames Auto Arena in Laredo, TX. You will check admission tickets, greet guests, scan tickets, and help maintain smooth entry flows during events.

Candidates should be at least 18 years old, with prior customer service experience. Bilingual (English/Spanish) abilities and strong teamwork are highly valued for this role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Be on time in a clean, presentable uniform and ready to work at your call time.
• Smile, make eye contact and be courteous.
• Greet each guest in a warm, friendly manner (e.g. 'Good evening' or 'Welcome to the Sames Auto Arena').
• Verify each guest has a valid admission ticket with correct event name, date, and box code.
• Scan tickets using computerized scanners.
• Direct guests toward their seating section.
• Keep lines moving and assist other ticket takers if possible.
• Check for food, drinks, and contraband.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following:

• Be on time. Be in a clean, presentable uniform and ready to work at your call time.

• Smile, make eye contact and be courteous!

• Greet each guest in a warm, friendly manner (“Good evening” or “Welcome to the Sames Auto Arena”)

• Be certain that each guest possesses a valid admission ticket by checking that the proper event name, date and event/box code appears on each ticket.

• Scan all tickets using computerized scanners.

• Direct all guest towards the general direction of their seating section (“Section____ is to your left. An usher will show you to your seat”).

• Keep your lines moving as rapidly as possible, and if able, assist other ticket takers by directing longer lines to your area.

• Check for food, drinks and other contraband.

• Other duties may be assigned.
