Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training preferred.
• Box office (Ticketmaster/Etix), cashier, or guest services background preferred.
• Proven customer service skills and professional demeanor.
• Accurate data entry and numerical accuracy required.

Responsibilities

• Sell tickets during regular hours and events at the box office.
• Open and close ticket window as required.
• Accept payments and provide correct change.
• Maintain accurate counts of tickets sold and handle Will-Call.
• Complete daily ticket sales reports and process reservations by various channels.
• Answer questions about prices, seating, and events with courtesy and clarity.

We have an excellent opportunity and immediate opening for a Part-Time Ticket Seller at out Richmond facilities to include Dominion Energy Center and Altria Theater. This position is responsible for the sale of tickets at each venue during regular office hours, and during events, most of which occur during evenings and on weekends.**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:*** Demonstrates excellent customer service skills* Opens and or closes ticket window as required.* Accurately dispenses tickets as requested by patrons* Accepts payments and makes change accurately.* Maintains accurate count when selling hard tickets* Accesses computer for count of computer printed tickets.* Completes daily ticket sales report* Fills reservations for seats I via in person, telephone and/or mail* Mans Will-Call window* Responds to requests for service and assistance* Efficiently and courteously answers questions concerning prices, seating, events and coming attractions.* Files various records and reports.* Performs routine clerical and other duties as assigned**Requirements*** High School Diploma or General Education Diploma* Flexible schedule.
